We are looking for passionate Operations Engineers to be part of our MF Ops & Scheduling Team.  This position will have the opportunity to leverage technologies to manage, maintain, orchestrate, and troubleshoot our complex batch processes running on CA-7 Mainframe Scheduling Tool. We are looking for the Ops Engineer to be available during the USA evening time 4:30pm CST to 12:30am CST (4am to 12pm IST) to work on Batch Support, Batch Operations, Scheduling activities and Oncall support.

 Skills Required:

• Highly proficient in CA-7 Tool. Excellent understanding of all batch concepts and their implementation in the CA-7 Scheduling Tool.
• Experience in troubleshooting and addressing batch halts on CA7.
• Must have Hands on experience in Job Restarts, Cycle Restarts, AdHoc scheduling with & Without triggers, JCL Overrides, Monitoring All CA-7 queues like Req, Rdy, Act, Requeue etc...
• Hands on experience preferred in Job Scheduling in CA-7 Database, definition of new jobs, dependencies, File Dependencies, Cyclic job definitions, modifying Critical Batch Cycles that run CSG’s core business.
• Experience in Scheduling activities like Calendar Maintenance, Year-end activities will be highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge on JCLs, Procs & Batch Orchestration is necessary for the role.
• Exposure to at least 1 source code management tools like Endevor, Changeman or Compuware ISPW (ISPW is most preferred).
• Experience in Code promotions through SCM tools is desired.
• Experience needed in handling Job abends, restarting, and rerunning them. Fixing critical batch halts in a timely manner to meet SLAs.
• Working hours will be 4am to 1pm IST from Tuesday to Saturday IST.
• Strong expertise in TSO, ISPF, SDSF & IBM Utilities. Exposure or Experience with REXX will be highly desirable.
• Any experience with ROSCOE, RPF will be an added advantage.
• Ability and Willingness to quickly learn and adapt to CSG’s internal tools and work highly independently.
• Collaborate with various development and support teams within CSG to execute their Ops & Scheduling requests successfully.
• Participate in review board meetings, ensure that the CSG Standards are followed by Dev teams.
• Support release weekends and oncall rotation.
• Any experience in process improvements, automations will be appreciated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
