THE ROLE

At UOP LST Digital, this will be an important role to build the UOP digital platforms. Sr. Advanced Project Engineer is responsible for the development, oversight, and implementation of key connected solutions for UOP, Process Monitor, and Process Monitor with PTA and ProSight. They are important components of our digital offerings. As UOP Connected Product Owner, he/she will be coordinating with the UOP Connected service leads, IT, and development teams to establish that these platforms meet users' requirements and that development tasks are appropriately lined up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploy Process Monitors (PM) and Process Technology Analytics (PTA)
• Support and troubleshoot deployed apps
• Maintain the PM PTA templates
• Manage GES execution teams doing the configuration work
• Provide support to technical services and sales teamswhen needed
• Provide any inputs to PM development team and test out new functionality
• Support services team during proposals and agreements
• Be able to take on Product Owner responsibilities for the DevOps team and ensure that the development meets all the requirements for implementation in the commercial unit. Developing processes & solutions creatively and being customer-centric.
• Being Agile, innovative, and customer-focused are the key elements in this position
• Accountable to minimize manual work by Automation/Standardization
• Integrating the incremental changes and updates to the PTA solutions
• Create and maintain tools for mass implementation such as Process Monitor
• Maintain version control for all artifacts, creating calculation Manuals for each technology
• Priovide support to build arsenal of tools or components to support digital solutions business
• Able to drive DoE, Training across the globe for digital platforms
• Help implementation team troubleshoot and fix issues
• Participate in the end-to-end development of PM & PTA solutions
• Simplify the implementation process and development work process. Ensure components built are simple, easy to maintain and easy to support. Provide inputs to PM development team and test our new functionality.
• Drive refinery performance monitoring tool development and its architecture.
• The candidate may be required to travel up to 10% of the time for customer-facing and internal/external duties

YOU MUST HAVE

• Knowledge Education /Exp Communication-
• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years experience in plant operations experience of any refinery or petrochemical process unit and UOP technical service or process operation monitoring role within the refining and petrochemical industry.
• 1+ years experience in overseeing remote performance monitoring solutions or any other online monitoring of process plants.
• Min 1 year of experience in developing software for refineries based on Phyton.
• Knowledge of UOP Process Technologies
