JOB DESCRIPTION :

Functional Lead – Master Planning (ME) :

Position Purpose

Manage and develop SJ’s consulting operations in Master Planning Industry and act as the technical lead in ongoing & future Master Planning Projects within GCC in line with the organisation’s SJ 2.0 (2022 -2026) strategic directions, business plan and financial targets.

This role requires for extensive understanding of Master Planning projects for the detailed design and Engineering, as well as solid Middle East Master Planning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all master planning projects in the Middle East in coordination with the SJ ME management team.
• Act as the focal point for the technical topics related to Master Planning in GCC.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the Master Planning sector.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow the master planning business in the region.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the company's market share and reputation in the ME master planning sector.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Significant experience in the Master Planning sector, including Master plan and engineering projects.
• Proven experience leading project teams and managing projects in the Master Planning sector.
• Experience in business development, identifying new opportunities and growing the master planning business in the Middle East region.
• In-depth knowledge of Master planning, as well as relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines
• Strong relationship-building and client management skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and manage team members.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Deep working knowledge of the engineering consulting industry in GCC. Across trends and other market developments.

Mechanical Engineer :

Responsibilities

• Carry out planning and periodic reviews of maintenance undertaken by his /her team to ensure plumbing and sanitary installations , including water pumps, pipes maintenance are carried out professionally with digital inspection forms, records, complying to project timelines in accordance to relevant SOPs and client’s requirement.
• Assistance with FM team on maintenance scheduling and operation(s).
• Responsible for the efficient performance of the vendors in charge of the zone assigned/ works and other supporting services where applicable within the team with established Fault Reporting Apps.
• Experience and ability to plan for scheduling and resource deployment.
• Pump maintenance and management experience
• Conduct Scheduled inspection walk through with established checklist on site
• Monitor the timely submission of specialist and internal reports to clients when necessary.
• He/she will maintain satisfactory liaison with Clients and the end user and provide support through the deployment of required resources and remedy plans and its service level agreements.
• The Engineer will provide support and liaison between the Client and tenants/users should there be any works involved, manage budgets and cost for said projects.
• Supervise and manage in-house and outsourced contractors on the scheduled maintenance of plumbing and sanitary installations within the building.
• Responsible for the efficient performance of the technicians/vendors in charge of hard engineering services and other supporting scopes.
• Co-ordinate and execute ad-hoc works (maintenance and projects) and ensure routine works are administered on site.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (M&E) or its equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant post degree/diploma experience in related M&E fields, Fire Protection experience or Facilities Management or its equivalent;
• Good communication skills to engage users, FMs and clients effectively.
• Pro-active and also work as a team player since coordination works are required.
• Good soft-skills in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
• Mon to Sat ( 5.5 Days ) , 8:30am to 6:00pm

Electrical Design Engineer :

• Develop Electrical design system for commercial, industrial and projects which requires mechanical system.
• Providing calculation for Electrical using ie. Dialux, VIPCODA software, spread sheet excel etc.
• Provide markups for Electrical design system on projects and pass to modeler to produce 3d modelling/2d drawings/Schematics.
• Manage Bim modelers & guide them on client standards, requirement to produce bim drawings/2d with good quality output.
• Liaise with the Team Lead regarding the client concept design requirements to provide on tender submission.

Process Safety Engineer :

Responsibilities:

• Involve in feasibility / conceptual studies, FEED and detailed engineering design for hydrocarbon, high pressure gas transmission and distribution pipeline as well as clean and renewable energy projects
• Ability to evaluate an asset's GHG emissions profile in line with IPCC guidelines and identify opportunities to integrate energy related projects or programs such as biomass conversion, waste to heat etc
• Development and implementation of renewable technologies and green solutions for international markets
• Undertake Process Design work as required which may include a combination of engineering, research and consultancy works, wherever necessary
• Provide process engineering design supports to Engineering Managers and Project Managers / Directors in project deliverables
• Experienced in the preparation, review and approval of various Process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDDs, hydraulic calculation, surge analysis, PSV calculation, utility consumption calculation, control and operation philosophies as well as process datasheets for various equipment and instruments
• Ability to provide risk assessment through the use of risk analysis techniques and tools. Ability to review and provide inputs to HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PCS and QRA etc
• Participate in technical meetings and discussion with clients and contractors

Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in Process Design in the O&G industry with a Chemical Engineering Degree.
• Conversant with relevant international and local codes and standards
• Proficiency in MS Suite and process simulation software
• Experience in Process Safety related studies, analysis, calculations. Technical know-how in process safety engineering, QRA or PHA is essential.
• Experience in Singapore Power Gas High Pressure Gas Transmission and Distribution Pipeline projects and/or Aviation Fuel projects will be an added advantage
• Experience in gas dispersion study, risk contour, consequence modelling and QRA will be an added advantage
• Keen interest in energy transition to clean and innovation energy solutions
• Preferably associated with a registered engineering institution
• Able to lead and work both independently as well as in a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good in clients and contractors' management
• Strong analytical skills and abili9ty to be an independent problem solver
• Decisive, highly motivated and enthusiastic

Data Scientist (BIM & Digital Delivery) :


The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who can support and drive the Digital Engineering culture while providing support and coordination of the digital delivery on our projects. You will support our internal project teams engaging a high-level with other consulting professionals. You'll be responsible for all aspects of implementing automation solutions from requirements gathering and process documentation to developing, testing, and deploying solutions.

Supported by the Digital Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

• Develop Microsoft PowerApps integrated with data sources in the SharePoint and Azure infrastructure, both stand-alone and embedded within Power BI
• Develop, deploy, update and maintain Power BI Apps, Reports and Datasets according to business needs
• Assist in maintaining data resources, including databases, cloud storage, data sets and data models
• Gather and document user requirements and identify new features; translate business/user requirements into Power platform design
• Planning and development of Power platform solutions, troubleshooting any related issues
• Design database to support site usage of power platform
• Provide training of Power BI, PowerApps and Power Automate
• Assist to maintain the project Common Data Environment to enable the effective management of engineering design deliverables.
• Setting up data infrastructure, sourcing missing data
• Enhancing the data collection process, create visualisations of data
• Develop, implement and maintain databases (QA/QC of BIM Model)
• Assess quality of data and remove or clean data
• Preparing reports for executive and project teams
• Provide Process Automations on projects

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction related subject
• Strong mathematical & numeracy skills
• Understanding of reporting & data visualisation tools such as PowerBi
• Understanding of website scripts such as XML, Javascript, JSON
• Ability to program in Python/Java would be an advantage
• Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data
