Manages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a product or service offering.

• Provide vision and governance to translate business objectives & voice of the customer to a credible product strategy, roadmap and delivery plans , in alignment technology trends, industry trends, competitor analysis
• Use of formal planning techniques and data-driven methodologies to manage product roadmap, requirement prioritization, KPI management and delivery execution
• Setup and govern organization-wide planning processes including budgeting, project prioritization, headcount planning, forecast management and variance analysis
• Navigate large and distributed stakeholder ecosystem; build trust and partnership
• Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
• Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
• Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the organization.
• Identifies opportunities for simplification and sustained value delivery to the organization; Champions organization transformation through formal techniques and change management methodologies

Experience and Qualifications

• Strong background in Embedded Systems & Print domain, with working knowledge in one or more of large print firmware, software or solutions programs.
• Technically sound, can translate business & customer needs to technology roadmaps
• Understands the business internal and external landscape and thinks/acts strategically for all stakeholders
• Ability to spot white spaces, identify and develop new large/complex opportunities
• Demonstrated excellent leadership and people management skills, including coaching, teambuilding, conflict resolution and communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams, functional groups and divisions
• Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and drive change across functions. Very strong leadership, people and business management skills.
• Frequent collaborative influence cross-functionally and on executive level
• Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring
• Strong Communication and Analytical thinking.
• Passion towards competitive market dynamics, business models, business strategies and processes.

• Deliver to program commitments – Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are available and appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps. Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners. Ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with partners; ensures internal and external partners are engaged as appropriate.
• Operational & Engineering Excellence – Sets clear objectives and goals for the team and enables the team to deliver and use operating mechanisms to continually assess progress and drive efficiencies. Establishes data-driven processes needed to achieve operational & engineering excellence. Foster Engineering culture within team and across organizations.
• Technology Strategy – Define a durable and scalable technology strategy for enabling roadmap. Drive the change needed for adoption and implementation of this strategy.
• Speed as a Habit – can operate in a fast-moving environment, make quick data driven decisions and drive execution rigor to deliver outcomes.
• People Leadership – Grow and coach engineering talent, acts as a talent magnet to attract, nurture and retain senior talent including Engineering Managers, Architects, TPMs and acts a coach for engineers. Provides people management for assigned managers and team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development
• Customer Obsession – establish ways to gain customer insight and to be the voice of the customer in the development process. Stays close to customer problems and solves it with urgency.
• Effective Collaboration – Able to operate in a complex org structure and collaborating with multiple stakeholders globally. Establish alignment of vision, strategy & delivery working with partnering teams and stakeholders including senior leaders across geographies.
