JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Location

• Hyderabad, India (Hybrid Work – In Office and Remote).
• Applicants who can start within 30 days or sooner would be preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop EE diagnostics applications in support of new and previously released vehicles.
• Design, develop, test, and release EE Diagnostics tools and software programming tools.
• Create an advanced and secure EE Diagnostics architecture for electric vehicles.
• Perform EE Diagnostics data creation and maintenance.
• Perform EE Diagnostics test development for Development, Engineering, and Aftersales.
• Leverage various debug programs to understand how data and information “flows” through the software ecosystem.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze vehicle EE Diagnostic needs, then create a support plan and execute according to that plan.
• Perform vehicle validation using both vehicle simulation software and on-vehicle validation.
• Perform system validation on test benches and test vehicles.
• Capture and analyze CAN messages and logs to provide detailed information on test results.
• Contribute to in-house ASAM complaint diagnostics and flasher tool development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Master of Science is preferred.
• 3 years of experience in automotive EE Diagnostics, including On-Board and Off-Board Diagnostics.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

• Expert knowledge of automotive diagnostics for Electric Vehicles.
• Expert knowledge of automotive diagnostics protocols (UDS) and associate specifications.
• Expert knowledge of automotive networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Expert knowledge of CAPLE and OTX Scripting for diagnostics use cases.
• Expert knowledge of ODX and CDD creation and maintenance.
• Strong system-level understanding of the involved Hardware, Software, and customer Use-Cases.
• Knowledge of data specifications and exchange processes (ODX, CDD, ARXML, FIBEX, DBC) and tools needed to handle these formats efficiently.
• Knowledge of the related diagnostics tools (Intrepid flash tools, Diagnostics tools, and strategies like SOTA).
• Awareness of communication-related Cybersecurity (SecOC, secure firmware updates, secure diagnostics, HSM).
• Ability to collect and build new knowledge base as needed, including new protocols, new bus technologies, and new vehicle architectures.
• Ability to be innovative and creative while working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, as required.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
