The Role

• A Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a vital source of knowledge, capability, or expertise
• in Chemical Engineering. The SME functions as the organizational representative for
• his/her knowledge area and applies his/her expertise to support the strategic 
• direction of the organization. He/she should be capable and willing to work on core

Requirements: 

• B. Tech Chemical Engineering /M. Tech Chemical Engineering.
• Candidates (0- 3 Years’ Experience) with experience in Learning service

• electrokinetic flow effects, Introduction to computational fluid dynamics and flow 
• lab, COMSOL Multiphysics for solving fluid mechanics problems.
• Separation process principles (chemical and biochemical operations): 
• Separations by phase addition or creation (absorption, distillation, extraction, 
• distillation), separations by barriers and solid agents (membrane separations, 
• adsorption, ion-exchange, chromatography, electrophoresis), separation that 
• involve a solid phase (leaching, crystallization, evaporation, drying of solids), 
• mechanical separation of phases.

Analysis, synthesis, and Design of Chemical processes: 

• Conceptualization and analysis of chemical processes, engineering economic 
• analysis of chemical processes, synthesis and optimization of chemical processes, 
• analysis of process performance, impact of chemical engineering design on society. 
• Chemical process safety, CAPCOST and CHEMCAD.
• Chemical reaction engineering: 
• Mole balance, conversion and reactor sizing, rate laws and stoichiometry, 
• isothermal reactor design, collection and analysis of rate data, multiple reactions, 
• reaction mechanisms, pathways, bioreactions and bioreactors. Steady state non-
• isothermal reactor design, Unsteady state non-isothermal reactor design, catalysis 
• and catalytic reactors, external diffusion effects on heterogeneous reactions, 
• diffusion and reaction, distributions of residence times for chemical reactors, 
• models for nonideal reactors.
• Chemical engineering thermodynamics:
• Mass and energy conservation, entropy balance, liquefaction, power cycles and 
• explosions, thermodynamic properties of real substances, equilibrium, and stability 
• in one-component systems. Thermodynamics of multicomponent mixtures, Gibbs 
• energy and fugacity of a component in mixture, vapor-liquid equilibrium in
