JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Support the drafting of Inspection and Test Plans and implementation of Inspection and Tests Checksheets.
- Support in the drafting of RAMs to ensure works are sequences and planned correctly.
- Checking setting out protocols of sub-contracted site engineers, review and agree a method to carry out consistently.
- Checking Installation on site is correct according to specifications.
- Review the Design Information prior to works commencing.
- Checking that correct Quality Control is adhered to using our digital process.
- Resolving technical problems at all levels.
- Ensuring activities are carried out in safe manner in accordance with the Project Safety Plan.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies and the manufacturers' defined requirements.
- Ensure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the Contract requirements using the appropriate agreed procedures.
- Ensure all site personnel have clear, accurate and appropriate information to carry out their duties.
- Close liaison with the Project Team.
- Ensure that only the latest issue drawings and documents are being used as detailed in the project Information Management Plan.
- Assist the Site Management team to update KPI's, material reconciliation and progress reports Engineering Duties
- Mirror the Murphy Values of Safety, Leadership, Integrity and Respect in all behaviours.
- Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
- Previous experience in clean water or wastewater civil engineering projects is desirable.
- Previous experience as an engineer on a civil engineering project
- Experienced in implementation and management of QA/QC for their areas of responsibility on their projects.
- IT Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel and Word proficiency
- Able to articulate engineering concepts verbally to stakeholders and in written communication
- Previous experience as an engineer on a civil engineering project
- Driver’s license
- Safety training IOSSH and/or PTS
- It is expected that you will actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.”

- STW has received 'Fast Track' status from OFWAT and are thus 1 of 3 Water Utilities proceeding from 1 April 2020 with their AMP 7 Programme of works.
- For LOT1 contractors this will be a share of around £1.5bn over the next 5 years. The Framework has within it a provision to extend the contract to eight years based on performance. Call - Off Orders based on NEC4 Options A, C or E forms of contract selected as appropriate for given projects or batches of work

Engineer – Coventry
A fantastic opportunity for an Engineer to contribute to clean water infrastructure projects in the midlands on Severn Trent water projects. We are currently preparing to deliver project which will transfer flows to a new treatment works via a 10km pipeline via 2 new pumping stations and 8 pipejack trenchless crossings.

What you will be doing
