General Summary:

The engineer’s role would be to support testing efforts for graphics sw stack and adjacent technologies like touch, ml, power, multimedia( (video, audio, camera, graphics, display). Primary responsibilities will be to write and execute testcases and device automation.

• Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
• Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
• Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
• Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.
• Has ability to withstand pressure without diluting Testing processes.
• In case of emergency take charge of the situation, coordinate with stakeholders.
• Should be able to optimize & effectively manage time.
• Should be able to identify, track and mitigate risks to the product.
• Should be able to work in close collaboration with Product Engineering teams.
• Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product.
• Make sure the product automation is always running with the latest guidelines and features.

The Engineer must have a good understanding of Graphics technologies(directX and/or openGL, display) and experience with automation - c/c++ programming and/or python programming

Minimum Qualifications:

• Expertise on Windows Graphics - DirectX 11 and DirectX 12
• 3+ years’ experience on Graphics Testing - Windows/Android
• Experience working with and testing applications on Windows
• Expert in C/C++/Python programming
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected
• Proven experience in test automation development, source code management, continuous integration, and script programming, test framework development.
• Must have White box testing experience on Desktop along with test coding experience

Preferred additional qualifications:

• Experience working with and testing applications on Linux and Android
• Experience in Windows Multimedia / Windows on Snapdragon software
