JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Ensure Pre and Post order Structural Design as per SLA
• Return Approval Drawings from client as per SLA targets
• Ensure quality of fabrication drawings, manufacturing & site execution QA as per Standards
• Implement design development initiatives in-line with Tata Steel expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Pre-Order Work.

• Understanding the requirement from the customer / Nest-In Sales Manager
• Checking structural feasibility of the Project
• Prepare basic/proposal drawings.
• Provide relevant inputs to enable sales team to prepare cost estimate and technical offer, considering all value-added items of a building.
• Value engineering and Customer Interaction (need based).

Post – Order Work.

• Structural Design of the Building based on the final input/layout.
• Structural Design calculation and drawing approval from customer/third-party consultant / IIT / Project and Engineering department of TATA STEEL LTD.
• Developing & Checking final fabrication Drawings
• Developing & Checking the assembly and erection Drawings
• Inspection and quality checking of steel components.
• Inspection and quality checking of steel structure execution at site.

Technical competencies:

• Auto CAD, Staad,
• Frame CAD/Pinnacle/LGSF software would be an added advantage.

Skills
Relevant experience:

• Minimum 5 year prefab Light gauge steel Frame structure/ PEB/ Structural steel and modular steel structure (with Sheetmetal) structural design experience

Educational qualifications:

• Minimum B. Tech or Equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• M. Tech in Structural Engineering Preferred.
• Chartered Engineer Preferred.
