JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a service-minded Maintenance Technician to provide professional elevator and escalator maintenance service to our customers in Dubai, UAE.

In this role, you will be at the core of KONE - an everyday hero who makes people's lives easier. You will work towards ensuring quality service and improving equipment safety and performance. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be performing regular maintenance checks and tasks on KONE and third-party equipment, as well as attending call-outs for stoppages. Training and technical support is provided and the opportunity for advancement within the company is only limited to your willingness to progress.

What will you be doing?

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance
• Attend service calls and complete planned and unplanned repairs
• Carry out the activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including a sound understanding of quality and safety standards
• Take immediate action on site in case of high-risk identification and apply the escalation procedure
• Accountable for the end-users and the site safety
• Accountable for precise and timely reporting of the work done

Requirements

• ITI/Vocational Certificate course /Diploma Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Automation streams or equivalent
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Candidates with basic IT skills and digital foundation skills will be given a preference
• Minimum 5 years of solid Preventive Maintenance experience with a reputed elevator company is a must.
