The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Conducts component and product integration.

All activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance and operability.

Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down.

Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.

Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component / subcontractors and partners teams. Manages interface between components and execution organizations.

Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computer), Computer Science or similar techni

Required Skills:

Demonstrated competency in understanding functionality of complex systems involving software designs and their integrated interactions.

Relative Industry Systems Engineering or relative co-op systems engineering experience.

Experience in design verification of complex systems.

Experience in standards and regulations.

Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORs.

Experience in systems architecture and integration for complex systems.

Experience in design engineering for Healthcare / Automobile/ Aerospace/ Avionics devices.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).

Experience with defect management tools.

Ability to interpret technical documents (i.e. Engineering and Manufacturing).

Good to Have Skills:

Experience in design engineering for Anesthesia Systems, Critical Care Ventilators, or other life support devices.

Experience in risk management of medical devices.
