JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are currently looking for "MEP Project Engineer", Candidate should have 3-5 years experience in the contracting industry. Candidate must be able to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist the Project manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that
• may affect construction progress, e.g., quality or snagging.
•  Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and report to the project Director on the same.
• Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team.
•  Responsible to prepare the design and prepare the shop drawings.
•  MEP System has to analyze mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and
• formulate solutions.
•  Responsible to prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimated of plumbing, heating,
• ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.
• Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
•  Prepare the MEP section of the Project Managers monthly progress report.
•  Responsible to prepare the documents, reports to get the approval from DEWA, FEWA, SEWA
• and other Government departments.
•  Perform inspections to ensure firefighting and fire alarm system are installed according to code.
• To review and prepare the HVAC Shop Drawings, MEP- Coordination Drawings, Work method
• statement and Project Specification.
• Design testing procedures and control equipment to accurately assess products and identify areas that require modification and further testing.
• Analyze the all systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.
• Other duties as might be required by the management and project manager.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in Both Electrical and Mechanical engineering for fit out and construction;
• 3-4 years minimum experience in a well-established professional enterprise in GCC;
• Proven experience in high-end projects;
• Fluent in English;
• Proficient in AutoCad; the knowledge of BIM is a plus;
• UAE Driving License
