JOB DESCRIPTION :

Organization Background:

The Critical Endpoint Engineering team is responsible for client workstations across the entire health system deemed critical to patient care. Medical devices, client workstations connected to medical devices, and client workstations running critical applications are a few examples of critical workflows. We ensure these client workstations are secure and up-to-date with the latest approved version of the OS, software, security patches, and policies.

 What will you be responsible for?

• Install, configure, and administer System Center Configurations Manager (SCCM) infrastructure
• Configuring security patching and policy updates for client devices
• Agent installation, remediation and monitoring of coverage
• Ensuring client devices are up to date with latest version of security patches and policies
• Monitor, report out and define corrective steps to drive security patch compliance on client devices
• Packaging software through Admin Studio, completing compatibility assessment, readiness
• Deploying software through Microsoft Intune
• Create/manage Active directory group policies
• Demonstrating engineering mindset and automating operations tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell
• Documenting and sharing operating processes and procedures

What would your day look like?

• Administrating System Center Configurations Manager (SCCM)
• Packaging software through Admin Studio and test deployments
• Deploying security policies/software through Microsoft Intune
• Configure/schedule client laptop for security & 3rd party patching
• Write scripts (PowerShell, VB, Batch)
• Troubleshoot failed installs and non-communicating agents
• Monitor, report out to management various security patching related KPI’s and prepare and execute corrective action plans to meet KPI’s

Who we are looking for?

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in SCCM and Patch management
• Experience with SCCM, PowerShell scripting and Azure update management  
• 2-4 years of experience with software packaging / Admin Studio / Intune
• 2-4 years of experience working in cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS/Google cloud service
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, demonstrate problem solving
• Ability to effectively communicate and excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working in Agile/sprints in a global team setup
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or IS
• Experience in managing medical devices, client workstations connected to medical devices, or client workstations running critical clinical apps – Preferred
• Knowledge, training, or certification in Clinical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or healthcare environment – Preferred
