JOB DESCRIPTION :
Ensure that dimensional surveys are carried out on the fabricated structure including all fabrication marine interfaces, Liaise with the Client Representative and Project Superintendent on scheduled survey of structure.
Study applicable contract documents / standard codes and prepares a project specific Dimension Control Procedure. Discuss any non-conformance sutvey results with the Principal Dimension Control Tech and Project Superintendent.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that dimensional surveys are carried out on the fabricated structure including all fabrication – marine interfaces.
- Liaise with the Client Representative and Project Superintendent on scheduled survey of structure.
- Study applicable contract documents / standard codes and prepares a project specific Dimension Control Procedure.
- Discuss any non-conformance survey results with the Principal Dimension Control Tech and Project Superintendent
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- 2 year Diploma in Technical Engineering or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in Dimensional controlling in fabrication.
- Good knowledge in Survey Instruments (Total Station).
- Computer literacy and good knowledge in AUTO CAD latest versions (2D).
- Should be physically fit and willing to work out side (yard) and offshore.
