You will likewise support, tutor and help different designers in the group.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- You will play a significant role in shaping our software architecture that provides measurable customer value.
- Ensure availability, latency, scalability needs addressed by engineering reliability into software and systems.
- Focus on operability of the service including security, privacy, resiliency, Business Continuity & disaster recovery.
- You understand both technology and business to know the right tradeoffs to make.
- You will work closely with your peers, managers, product, design and operations teams to create solutions that meet business requirements.
- You will drive engineering and operational excellence across Ally.
- You will collaborate with other engineers to surface common pain points, develop solutions and evangelize best practices.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 13+ years of professional software engineering experience building customer-facing web and/or mobile applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Build and architect large scale enterprise eco systems.
- Exceptional coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications.
- Strong expertise on large scale complex system integration, SOA, message orientated, event driven, domain driven, Microservices/distributed computing and other enterprise architectural patterns.
- Experience in broad range of Open-source tools and technologies: ROR, Java, Web services, RESTful services
- Experience in Azure or AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience with distributed databases, transaction semantics/management, and indexing systems.
- Ability to evaluate architectural options (complexity, performance, high-availability, scalability, durability) and make right recommendation for implementation
- Strong in communications, cross-group collaboration, influencing without authority.
- Display high degree of confidence and ability to work in highly ambiguous situations.
- Experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming.
- Open minded and thoughtful when making technology choices.
- Experience with existing M365 foundational technologies.
